Kate Schabot

Program Manager
A native of the Chicagoland area and an avid baseball fan (go White Sox!), Kate has made Raleigh her home for the last 13 years. After graduating from UNC-Chapel Hill with a degree in Journalism and Mass Communication and a varied background in PR, marketing and advertising, Kate landed at Ogilvy in March 2008. Much to her surprise, the commute from downtown Durham to her home in downtown Raleigh isn't "that bad" and she can usually make it home without ripping her hair out. Evenings and weekends are spent with her amazing husband and adorable 1 year old son. Over the last year as a mom she's learned the true meaning of life, what's worth stressing over and what's not, and the importance of Cheerios.
